My Touch:

Have you ever written a post on your iTouch? I have. Just once, right now.
It's the same as writing on your iPhone I guess.
This keyboard is tiny but I've gotten so much better at typing correctly on it.

Today is the last day of March. This is why I'm writing another post. I gotta keep up the 3 posts a month goal. I sure do not like the snow right now! I love the snow in December. But when the month of April starts out with SNOW on the ground? That's when I do not enjoy it.

I want to go somewhere warm! A beach, lake, even layig by a pool would be nice if it was asunny hot day and I had no worries... Is anyone willing pay for me to to go somewhere like that? Perhaps if you live in a nice spot, I could even come visit you!

Let me know, I'm desperate!

My girls:

Senior year in High School, I became "best friends" with 4 girls. I'd say we were all very different and looking back it seems random that the 5 of us came together. But we did, and we had so many hilarious and awesome moments together.
Here is a picture of us in the Airport coming home from our Choir Trip to LA, senior year. (despite what the date on the picture says, it really wasn't 1998- it was 2004)
Andrea Romney, Lizzy Patton, Brittany Olsen, Sarah DeLaMare, Michelle Sorenson

After High School, Del and I went to LDS Business College & Ange, Liz and Shell went to BYU. I would drive down to Provo in my ghetto grey mini van (who's drivers door wouldn't close all the way) to visit the three down there.
Del got married in June 2005! To Jared Bauer... making her, Mrs. Sarah Bauer! This is a picture of the other 4 of us at her wedding.

Lizzy was next to get married... She married Jason Allen, making her Mrs. Elizabeth Allen - I love that name. She was married in May 2007.
This is a picture of us other 4 at the temple grounds right after she was married.

I was next to get married, to Chase Nielsen! I know it's sad, but this just might be the only picture I have with the girls. (Michelle was on a mission when I got married.) Anyone have a better one? Haha.

On Saturday, I went with "the girls," to get Pedicures and go to lunch at Chilies- which is "our" spot. Whenever we go to lunch we go to Chilies. It was nice to relax with them and get the updates in their lives.

Here are our toes, and then us in the chilies parking lot.

Lizzy is starting the Pharmacy program at the UofU this fall. Andrea Romney just became an RN and started working at Primary Children's last week. Sarah Bauer is a wonderful mother and will be moving to Idaho in the fall. Michelle Sorenson just got back from a mission in Brasil and is finishing her Nursing degree at BYU. Me? I'm nannying and being a wonderful wife.

My updates:

I made a goal at the beggining of the year to blog at least 3 times a month.
It's the end of the month and I'm finally doing my first post for March. Oops...

I'll just give a few updates.

My dear friend, Sarah DeLaMare Bauer's little 8 month old baby boy passed away, which was very sad. He had been having heart problems and it wasn't entirely unexpected, but it was too soon and my heart goes out to her. This is a picture of the girls that day minus Michelle- who was our of town.

On a lighter note, I made St. Patricks Day green cupcakes. They were delicious and I had a wonderful time making them- they turned out not that green- more pukish color. Chase loved them though, and that was my goal. This picture is before I mixed everything up. I had thought I bought green dye, but instead I bought green writing icing... haha, but I still just dumped the entire thing in there... haha.

Speaking of my New Years goals, an update on those.

I have an appointment for my green card on April 23. Yay.
I'm still saving for that MacBook (but I did get the iPod Touch to suffice for now.)
I've been to the temple 3 times, but it hasn't been monthly. :(
I've reduced my calorie intake, but it's still too high.
I bet I've been to the gym 3-5 times this year at least. Haha...
I've lost 8 pounds.
The RS President switched up the Visiting Teaching in January, and my name got lost in the shuffle... finally last week she assigned me with someone and gave me people to teach. I'm going Monday morning, and I will continue to be dilligent.
I've improved, but still need to improve my homemaking skills.

Xoxo, Brittany
ps: Here are the finished cupcakes. We ate the dessert before dinner that night. (Notice they aren't THAT green)
